One of the major suppliers that we work with at Ravago Chemicals is Engineered Polymer Solutions (EPS). EPS has been a key industry innovator providing performance based resins designed for the architectural, industrial, construction and adhesive markets.

As the coatings industry converts more to waterborne technologies, strategies once used to improve adhesion are no longer an option. For example, low surface energy substrates such as thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membranes or ethylene-propylene diene monomer (EPDM) membranes are notoriously difficult to adhere to. This is due to the lack of chemical functionality on the membrane surface to improve adhesion. This is particularly true on unweathered substrates.

Roof Coating

Roof coatings are often the most economical and sustainable way to
maintain a roof over the long term. Coating TPO is challenging due to the difficulty of adhering to it. EPS® 2252 is a novel waterborne option that provides excellent adhesion to both new and aged TPO.
